Moving from Peer to Leader

The transition to a first time leadership or management position is a challenging one. It can be both daunting and confusing with no time to draw breath. This interactive session draws on the experiences of the group to highlight the key elements of the change and to suggest appropriate strategies to smooth the journey. We also discuss the differences between a manager and a leader in an organisation and show how they are mutually dependent but different. We recommend some strategies to make this significant career change easier.
